Parties

Parties give clients the opportunity to have the readings done at their location (a home, office, beauty salon, etc.) just for a gathering, or for a special occasion such as a shower, bachelorette party, or birthday. However, even if it’s just an excuse to get family and friends together with a psychic, it often gets people to try a reading if they’d otherwise be too nervous, and it’s also a less expensive and time-consuming session. At parties, only 10 minute readings are offered, and they are recorded. I can give between 5 and 6 of these readings in an hour. The hostess sets me up in a separate room, often a bedroom or den, or an office, etc., and the person having the reading has complete privacy. (I do not work outside, and reserve the right to refuse to read in an uncomfortable, noisy setting, or for someone who is “under the influence" and unable to pay attention to the reading.)

With a party the Host or Hostess receives a free reading, if the minimum number of guests attend. The minimum is based upon the distance I have to travel from my location; I no longer go more than about a half hour from Syracuse in person without special arrangements being made, but have a new party package for groups at a distance, called “Party in a Box!" All the details are the same, but I remain in my home and give the readings over the phone or internet, while the guests are still gathered at the party location. The readings are still recorded, the hostess still receives the free reading, and the readings are still in a private room. It works out just great, and it’s very cool that I’m there via technology rather than in person!

I require a $25 non-refundable deposit immediately to hold the party date, which we usually do by credit card or Paypal. The hostess will then collect the money for the balance of the minimum amount of guests (i.e. $250 is the deposit for 10 people, with $25 paid immediately), and which is due no later than three weeks before the party. Again, we can use a credit card, Paypal, or a money order to pay the balance - I don't accept separate checks from the individual guests, they will pay the hostess who then pays me. The minimum for any party is 10 people, not including the hostess, with more required depending on location. In general, the maximum is 15, but that is flexible. A party with 15 people would likely last about 3 hours.

If there are more guests than the minimum, they can pay me at the party. As they will have ample preparation time, cash is expected from anyone paying at the party. I only need to be put in a private room, like a bedroom or den, etc., and don't need a lot of space. (I am allergic to cats so if there are any, I'll need to be somewhere that I can shut the door, but that helps with the privacy as well!)
